EPA Announces White House Environmental Justice Advisory Council Meeting

What: The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced that the White House Environmental Justice Advisory Council (WHEJAC) will hold a virtual meeting.

When: December 17, 2024

Time: 1:00 PM – 7:30 PM ET.

There will be a portion of the meeting devoted to public comments. The WHEJAC is asking for input on the following topics:

  • Place-Based and Community-Focused Initiatives
  • White House National Science and Technology Council Environmental Justice Science, Data, and Research Plan
  • Indigenous Peoples and Tribal Nations

Anyone wishing to speak during the public comment period must register by December 13, 2024.

Written comments will be accepted until December 31, 2024.
