Ngozi Bell has a track record of 25+ years as an accomplished business executive in both the public and private sectors. Her private sector experience includes managing over $1 billion in product assets in the telecommunications, data processing, and semiconductor engineering sectors. She also has venture capital and private equity investment and portfolio management experience in fintech, biotech, aggrotech, and diverse technological innovations. Bell served as vice president at Birchmere Ventures, partner at Trans Sahara Investment Corporation, and held senior roles in AT&T and its derivative technology spinouts. Bell has worked routinely with companies developing solutions that use novel technologies in artificial intelligence, iDLT, BCI, continuous advanced manufacturing, thermography, and other STEM fields.

Between 2010 and 2017, Bell served as a regional advocate for the Office of Advocacy, advising and representing the small business community in Region 3 as the link between the mid-Atlantic small businesses and the Office of Advocacy. Bell led the most ambitious multi-sector engagement, culminating in a comprehensive conference report. Bell subsequently developed a successful national advocacy strategy represented by the moniker 3 B’s- Burdens, Barriers, and Big Ideas, as a concise template to effectively summarize and categorize small business engagement. Bell worked extensively with diverse regional ecosystems to champion the Office of Advocacy’s effort advising and representing the small business community in Region 3 as the link between the mid-Atlantic small businesses.
