USDA Seeks Comments, Announces Public Listening Sessions on Inflation Reduction Act Implementation

On October 28, 2022, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Rural Business Cooperative and Rural Utilities Service (USDA) announced a request for information and input on how to implement newly allocated funding opportunities under the Inflation Reduction Act. It is anticipated that these funds will support new projects related to rural electric system resiliency, biofuels, renewable energy technologies and more. USDA has shared several questions on topics relevant to its implementation. Interested parties are encouraged to provide comments and feedback on these topics and any others relevant to implementation.

In addition to written comments, the agency plans to host two public listening sessions on November 3^rd and 4^th, 2022. Written comments are due by November 28, 2022.
