NRC Seeks Comments on Systematic Review of Addressing Environmental Justice

On July 9, 2021 the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued a notice of public meeting and request for comments on how NRC addresses environmental justice (EJ) in its programs, policies, and activities, including conducting licensing and other regulatory reviews. NRC will hold its first round of public meetings on July 15, 2021 from 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm (ET) and 8:00 pm – 9:30 pm (ET).  Comments on the notice are due August 23, 2021.
