On March 23, 2020 the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) published a notice announcing a public hearing and requesting comments on U.S. interests and priorities on a proposed U.S.- Kenya trade agreement, in order to develop U.S. negotiating positions. Consistent with guidance issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention concerning COVID-19, USTR is cancelling the public hearing and extending the deadline for written comments.
