Advocacy Supports BLM Changes to Grazing Regulations

On May 12, 2026, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) published a proposed rule titled “Revision of Regulations for Grazing Administration, Exclusive of Alaska.” Advocacy works closely with federal agencies to ensure the voice of small businesses is heard during the regulatory reform process.

On June 30, 2026, Advocacy held a small business roundtable to seek input from small business stakeholders on the impacts of the proposed rule. Nearly 50 people participated in Advocacy’s roundtable, and many spoke and provided written materials expressing broad, consistent support for the rule’s key provisions. Advocacy conveys that support in this comment letter and offers recommendations to strengthen the rule’s impact on small businesses.

The mission of Advocacy is to give small entities a voice in the regulatory process. In support of this goal, Advocacy submits comments in support of BLM’s proposed rule and compliance with the Regulatory Flexibility Act.
