The Office of Advocacy, in coordination with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Department of the Army (Army), are conducting a hybrid webinar listening session for small business stakeholders.
Event Details
Date: Monday, May 19, 2025
Time: 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM ET
Virtual Platform: Zoom
In-Person Location: U.S. Environmental Protection Agency HQ, 1200 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20004 (Federal Triangle campus)
The listening sessions are intended to help EPA and Army understand stakeholders’ real-world perspectives and experiences with the Waters of the United States (WOTUS) implementation to inform the agencies’ upcoming proposed rule. The agencies are seeking input on key topics related to the definition of “Waters of the United States,” consistent with the Supreme Court’s ruling in Sackett, regarding “continuous surface connection,” “relatively permanent,” and jurisdictional versus non-jurisdictional ditches.
Attendees may preregister for a 3-minute time slot to speak. Slots will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis and will be limited by the duration of the meeting. Speaker preregistration will close two business days before the event.
For questions regarding the event, send an email to wotus-outreach@epa.gov.
