EPA Seeks Comments on Proposed 2021 Pesticide General Permit under the National Pollution Discharge Elimination System Permit Program

On January 15 2021, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) issued a Notice of Availability of proposed 2021 Pesticide General Permit under the National Pollution Discharge Elimination System Permit Program of the Clean Water Act. The Pesticide General Permit would authorize certain point source discharges of biological and chemical pesticides that leave a residue to waters of the United States in areas where EPA is the NPDES permitting authority. Written comments on the notice are due by March 16, 2021.
