NMFS Seeks Comments on List of Rules Subject to Periodic Regulatory Flexibility Act Review

On September 24, 2020, the United States Department of Commerce’s National Marine Fisheries Service published a request for comments on a list of rules the agency plans to review pursuant to Section 610 of the Regulatory Flexibility Act.  The agency is required to notify the public of its review of existing regulations that have or will have a significant economic impact on a substantial number of small entities. The request for information outlines the rules the agency plans to review, as well as its review process, and instructions for providing comments. Public comments on the proposed rule are due by October 26, 2020.
