New Law Clerk Joins Advocacy’s Team
Reese Goldsmith joined Advocacy’s Office of Interagency Affairs as a Law Clerk in September.
Goldsmith is particularly interested in environmental regulation and administrative law. She looks forward to providing the Interagency team with legal research on the cross-cutting regulatory issues that face small businesses during her year-long clerkship.
Goldsmith received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the Catholic University of America’s Columbus School of Law’s evening program in May 2017. While attending law school, she clerked for the U.S. Department of Justice’s Environment and Natural Resources Division in the Law and Policy Section and assisted on a number of environmental and Indian law matters.
Prior to her clerkship at DOJ, she worked as a federal contractor for the U.S. Department of Energy, as a paralegal for a labor law firm, and before attending law school, spent several years in the government affairs office for the national trade association representing magazine publishers.
Before receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Virginia Tech, Goldsmith completed two congressional internships
