The number of Hispanic-Owned Businesses grew 88 percent during the 10-year period from 1997 to 2007. Their growth rate was almost 3 times the national level (30 percent) for the period. Detailed information about Hispanic-owned business was recently released by the U.S. Census Bureau and can be found in the 2007 Survey of Business Owners (SBO). The SBO release provides final data on Hispanic businesses, including geographic and industry detail, business detail, and state-by-state growth.
