Advocacy Appoints Elmo J. Rinaldi to Serve as Region 3 Advocate

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Elmo J. Rinaldi has been appointed to serve as the SBA Office of Advocacy’s Region 3 Advocate, representing Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia. In this role, Rinaldi will be the direct link between the region’s small business owners, state and local government agencies, state legislators, small business associations, and the Office of Advocacy.  

“Coming from a background in small business, I am excited for the opportunity to work with the passionate and diverse small business communities that make up Region 3” said Elmo Rinaldi.

Rinaldi comes to Advocacy with an extensive background in small business development in various industries. In his career, Rinaldi has successfully led the development of businesses in real estate, restaurant franchise development, manufacturing, and beverage industries.

Clark, III. “Mr. Rinaldi’s expertise in business management and development as well as his vast industry knowledge has well prepared him for his new role in small business advocacy for the Mid-Atlantic.”

The Office of Advocacy’s regional advocates help identify new issues and concerns of small business owners in the nation’s 10 federal regions. They also monitor the impact of federal and state policies on small business at the local level. They work closely with local government officials, state officials and legislators, and the Chief Counsel for Advocacy to develop programs and policies that support small business growth.
