EPA’s Proposed Revisions to the TSCA PFAS Reporting and Recordkeeping Rule Roundtable – December 4, 2025

The next Office of Advocacy environmental roundtable will be held virtually on December 4, 2025, at 2 PM EST on the Microsoft Teams platform. The discussion will focus on the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) proposed revisions to the TSCA perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) reporting recordkeeping rule.

Date: December 4, 2025
Time: 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM ET
Meeting Platform: Microsoft Teams

The EPA has stated that the revisions are intended to maintain meaningful reporting on PFAS while exempting regulated entities that are least likely to have relevant information. The proposal also attempts to alleviate some compliance burdens (e.g., rule familiarization, recordkeeping) and eliminates reporting where EPA has now determined that reportable information is unnecessary to fulfill statutory obligations. The EPA also aims to minimize, to the extent feasible, the rule’s burden of regulatory compliance on small manufacturers.
