EPA Announces Two Public Meetings of the Science Advisory Board Environmental Justice Science and Analysis Review Panel
On June 25, 2024, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced two public meetings of the Science Advisory Board (SAB) Environmental Justice Science and Analysis Review Panel.
The purpose of the meetings is to discuss the panel’s draft peer review report of the EPA’s draft Revised Technical Guidance for Assessing Environmental Justice in Regulatory Analysis. The Panel will also discuss their self-initiated commentary outlining recommendations on advancing environmental justice science in rulemaking.
The meeting dates are:
- July 25, 2024, from 1:00 to 5:00 PM ET
- July 30, 2024, from 1:00 to 5:00 PM ET
The meetings will be conducted virtually. Participants can register for the meetings on the Science Advisory Board’s website.
Persons interested in providing oral statements, which will be limited to three minutes, should notify the SAB by July 22, 2024, to be placed on the list of registered speakers.
Written statements should be submitted by July 22, 2024, for consideration at the July 25 and 30, 2024 meetings.
