Small Business Chemicals Roundtable – January 29, 2024
The Office of Advocacy is announcing its first regularly scheduled Small Business Chemicals Roundtable. The purpose of these roundtables will be to bring experts in the regulation of chemicals under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) and other federal statutes together with small entity representatives to raise awareness of ongoing regulatory efforts and seek small entity feedback. Future regulation may affect small businesses that use targeted chemicals, products containing targeted chemicals, or products made using targeted chemicals. These roundtables will provide small entities and their representatives information to aid in their participation in these rulemakings as well as the chance to interact with TSCA subject matter experts and help to inform Advocacy’s activities on their behalf. Advocacy welcomes contributions to the agenda, so please advise if there are any issues on which you would like to present or lead discussion.
The first Office of Advocacy Small Business Chemicals Roundtable will be held virtually on January 29, 2024, at 2 PM ET on the Microsoft Teams platform.
Register for the roundtable and provide the information requested to receive a Microsoft Teams meeting link.

SBA Advocacy is an independent government office responsible for advancing the views of small businesses in the regulatory policy across the federal government. We conduct roundtables to hear the experiences, challenges, and recommendations of small businesses, and identify alternative approaches for policy development at federal regulatory agencies. Our roundtables are largely held online, to facilitate the attendance of stakeholders from a diverse range of backgrounds, industries, and geographic regions.
Roundtable meetings are open to all interested persons and are intended to facilitate an open and frank discussion about issues of interest to small business. These meetings are off the record and not intended for press purposes. Direct quotations of presenters or attendees may not be used without direct written approval of the person(s) making the statement. All press inquiries should be sent to Chandler Baxter at chandler.baxter@sba.gov. Agendas and presentations are available to all. If you need accommodations for a disability to participate in the roundtable, please contact Dave Rostker or assistance.
Should you have any questions or require further information, please contact Assistant Chief Counsel Dave Rostker at david.rostker@sba.gov.
