Advocacy Requests Public Comment Extension on CPSC’s Safety Standards for Portable Generators

On April 20, 2023, the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) published a supplemental proposed rule entitled Safety Standard for Portable Generators. On June 17, 2023, the Office of Advocacy requested CPSC extend the public comment period for this proposed rule to provide small entity stakeholders with sufficient time to provide meaningful feedback.
