EPA Publishes Notice of Public Meeting for Consideration of Environmental Justice Considerations for EPA’s National Primary Drinking Water Regulation for PFOS and PFOA
On March 3, 2021, EPA announced its intention to regulate perfluoroocatnesulfonic acid (PFOS) and perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) in public drinking water under the Safe Drinking Water Act. The two public meetings will occur virtually on March 2, 2022, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM (Eastern) and April 5, 2022, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM (Eastern). Comments can be provided orally to EPA during either public meeting or written comments can be submitted to EPA until April 20, 2022.
