NOAA Seeks Comments and Recommendations to Make Fisheries More Resilient to Climate Change
On March 3, 2021, the U.S. Department of Commerce’s National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) published a request for public comment seeking input from the public on how to implement Executive Order 14008, Tackling the Climate Crisis at Home and Abroad. NOAA seeks comments and information on how to make fisheries more resilient to climate change. The agency is looking for information on a variety of topics including management and conservation measures, and improvements in science, monitoring, and cooperative research. Written comments are due by April 2, 2021.
