DOI Seeks Comments to Inform Environmental Assessment for Candidate Conservation Agreement for the Dunes Sagebrush Lizard

On July 16, 2020 the United States Department of the Interior’s Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) published a notice of intent and request for comments related to producing an environmental assessment (EA) for the dunes sagebrush lizard. The notice stated that the Service intends to prepare an EA on a proposed candidate conservation agreement with assurances for the species that would cover several activities in six counties in Texas.  Written comments are due by August 17, 2020.
