USDA Seeks Comments on U.S. Standards for Canola, Corn and Soybeans
On June 29, 2018, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) published three proposed rules regarding U.S. Standards for Canola, Corn and Soybeans under the U.S. Grain Standards Act. The rules seek to determine whether current standards and grading practices remain relevant, or whether they should be changed or updated. The public is invited to comment on current practices to help inform the Agency’s decision to modify the standards. Comments on each of the three rules are due by August 28, 2018.
