Sustainable Chemistry Webinar – March 10, 2022
Under the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2021 (Public Law 116-283), the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) has convened an interagency team as part of the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) to coordinate Federal programs and activities related to sustainable chemistry. Part of this work will include characterizing and defining sustainable chemistry, coordinating, and supporting Federal activities related to sustainable chemistry, and identifying “any Federal regulatory barriers to, and opportunities for, Federal agencies facilitating the development of incentives for development, consideration, and use of sustainable chemistry processes and product.” The Office of Advocacy is participating in this effort.
On March 10, 2022, at 3:00pm EST, this team will host the first webinar in a series regarding the team’s tasks of defining, assessing, and preparing a strategic plan in the area of Sustainable Chemistry. This webinar is open to the public.
