In December 2018, the Office of Advocacy published a fact sheet titled “Small Business Facts: Spotlight on Veteran-Owned Employer Businesses,” written by Nora Esposito, Economic Research Fellow. The fact sheet provides general information on the nearly 380,000 veteran-owned employer businesses in the United States. In addition to an overview of these businesses, the fact sheet examines business owner demographics, as well as the industries and geographies in which veteran-owned employer businesses are active.
