On September 12, 2024, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) published a notice in the Federal Register requesting feedback on its Draft Environmental Justice Strategic Plan. The goal of the draft plan is to “transform how the Corps works with communities” and to “integrate environmental justice principles” into the agency’s civil works program.
The Corps will be holding two virtual public meetings to discuss the draft plan:
- September 17, 2024, from 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM ET
- September 19, 2024, from 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM ET
Additionally, the Corps will also hold a virtual public meeting for tribal entities on September 18, 2024, from 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM ET.
Comments on the draft plan are due October 1, 2024.

- Read the Federal Register notice and submit comments.
