USDA Seeks Comments on Implementation of Climate Change Mitigation Measures

On March 16, 2021, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) published a request for public comment seeking input from the public on how to implement Executive Order 14008, Tackling the Climate Crisis at Home and Abroad. USDA is seeking comments and information on various topics including climate-smart agriculture and forestry practices; biofuels, bioproducts, and renewable energy initiatives; addressing catastrophic wildfires; and environmental justice considerations. Written comments are due by April 29, 2021.
