Army Corps and EPA Announce Opportunity for Public Hearing on the Revised Definition of “Waters of the United States”

On February 7, 2019, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Army Corps) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced the scheduling of a public hearing to provide parties the opportunity to comment in person on the proposed rule to revise the definition of “Waters of the United States.” The hearings are to take place in Kansas City, Kansas on February 27 and 28, 2019. The deadline to register to speak at the hearings is February 21, 2019.
