EPA Extends Deadline for Chemical Data Reporting Submission Period
On September 27, 2024, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) published a notice in the Federal Register extending the 2024 submission period for reporting under the Chemical Data Reporting (CDR) regulations.
The original reporting date for the rule was September 30, 2024. EPA has extended the deadline to November 22, 2024, because of a technical issue with the reporting tool.
The CDR rule requires manufacturers (including importers) to provide EPA with information on the production and use of chemicals in commerce. This extension does not substantively alter any of the requirements for submission under the CDR rule.
