Advocacy Submits Comments on FinCEN’s Proposed Rule on Beneficial Ownership Information Reporting Requirements
On February 4, 2022, the Office of Advocacy filed a comment letter on FinCEN’s proposed rule on Beneficial Ownership Information Reporting Requirements. On December 8, 2021, FinCEN published a notice of proposed rulemaking on Beneficial Ownership Information Reporting Requirements in the Federal Register. The proposed regulations would implement Section 6403 of the Corporate Transparency Act, which was enacted into law as part of the National Defense Authorization Act.
